Who we are
CS Jobs is a customer support job intelligence platform operated by Prodeegi. We collect, clean and organise customer support job openings — remote, hybrid and on-site — and help candidates, especially in Nigeria and the rest of Africa, find roles they can actually get. We are never the employer; applications go directly to the hiring company.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.
- Profile data you give us: country, experience level, preferred roles, skills, salary expectations and work arrangement preferences — used only to score how well a job matches you.
- Activity data: jobs you save, applications you track, alerts you create, and anonymous page/job view events used to improve the board.
- Technical data: standard log information such as browser type and approximate location derived from your IP address.
How we use it
- To run your account and keep it secure.
- To match jobs to your profile and show eligibility for African candidates.
- To send job alert emails you explicitly subscribed to.
- To send essential service emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset).
- To measure aggregate usage so we can improve the product.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive only your basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) with your consent. We use it solely to create and authenticate your CS Jobs account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google service, and we never share this data with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account security settings.
Job alert emails
Job alerts are opt-in. Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can pause or delete any alert from your account at any time. Deleting an alert stops all related emails immediately.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security, so each account can only read its own records. Authentication is handled by our infrastructure provider. Email delivery is handled by our email provider solely to deliver the messages you asked for.
Retention
We keep account and profile data for as long as your account exists. Anonymous analytics events are retained in aggregate. When you delete your account, your profile, saved jobs, applications and alerts are deleted with it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Update most of it from your profile page, or email us for anything else. If you are in a jurisdiction with data protection laws such as the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the GDPR, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
